In this kit, everything you need to replace your shifter bushings is included. Over time, the shifter on the E36 BMW 3 Series has a tendency to develop slop. The cause is worn-out shift bushings. Using this kit, you can replace the bushings yourself and bring back a smooth, precise feeling to your BMW's gearshift. Check out our technical article on this procedure here.
The contents of the kit include:- Shift coupler with internal bushing
- Pin retaining clip
- Ball cup sponge
- Shifter Arm Plastic Bushing (attaches to chassis)
- Shifter arm bushing (attaches to transmission)
- Lower shift boot
- Shifter arm pin
- Two Shift selector rod circlips
- Four Yellow plastic washers/bushings for shift selector rod
- Shift handle ball cup bushing
